Center Stage Dance Studio
FALL 2010
Center Stage welcomes you to our dance
program. We offer professional classes with quality
instruction for students ages 2 to adult. Our classes
range from beginner to competitive levels in Tap,
Ballet, Jazz, Lyrical, Hip-hop, and Dance-poms. Our
mission is to develop the full potential of each student
by stressing proper fundamentals, giving encouragement,
and focusing on the needs of every dancer in a
structured, yet fun environment. Join us in our soon to
be expanded studio.
Center Stage is widely recognized as having one of the
best and most well-rounded dance programs in the state!
Also, this year Center Stage was named by Dancer
Magazine as one of the top 25 dance studios in the
country, selected for the FDC top 50, and selected by
the readers of the Daily Herald as Chicagoland's
favorite dance studio. We have a great staff comprised of dance
professionals that are also great teachers. We
will do our best to live up to your expectations this
dance season. We are
confident your children will have both a valuable
learning experience and a great time! We look forward to
sharing our passion for dance with you.
Registration
All current students may register now.
All registration is on a first come first serve basis.
You may register at the studio during our office hours
Monday-Wednesday 4:30p.m. – 7:30p.m (through Aug. 14th).
If you cannot come during office hours, there will be a
walk in registration
Thursday Aug 22nd 4:00 p.m.-7:30 p.m.
The studio will be closed Aug 23rd - Sept 2nd..
Fall Classes begin Thursday Sept 2nd

Tuition
Tuition is due at time of
registration.
* A $10.00 late fee will be charged after a 7 day grace
period.
* A $20.00 fee will be charged for any returned checks.

If less than five students enroll in a class, it will be
cancelled.
You will be notified by phone 1 week prior
to the start date.
Register
by mail with the attached
registration form. Make sure
the form is filled in completely, please include your
email address, the WAIVER
completed/signed, and a check made payable to Center
Stage is attached. Phone request & Registrations
without payment will NOT be accepted. If there is a
question or a conflict with a desired class, day or
time, please call the studio office at 630-529-9080,
and an alternate class will be suggested.

Class Attire
Center Stage now carries all dance shoes
Ballet:
Solid color leotard, pink tights
(Girls: pink leather ballet shoes, Boys: black leather
ballet shoes)
Tap:
Solid color leotard, tights/dance pants, black tap shoes
Jazz:
Solid color leotard, tights/dance pants, black slip-on
jazz shoes
Lyrical:
Solid color leotard, tan tights, tan slip-on jazz shoes
Hip-Hop:
Solid color leotard, tights/dance pants, black hip-hop
sneakers
Boys:
Solid color T-shirt, solid color sweatpants/dance pants

Hair MUST ALWAYS be pulled up and away from face.
Make Up Classes
Classes that are missed may be made up during that month
in a similar class. Any class that is not made up will
be forfeited. We will not credit missed classes.

For serious dancers
interested in attending dance competitions, Center Stage
offers one of the best and most well-rounded competitive
dance teams in the state. Students are required to
attend additional classes and rehearsals to better equip
them for competition.
Performing Troupe
(by audition only)
This is a fun dance group that is
designed for the non-competitive dancer, who likes to
perform at various community events.
The Performing Troupe is a rewarding experience
and a great way to give back to the community!

If you are new to Center Stage, but have previous dance
experience,
you may call to schedule a placement
evaluation.
